When a celebrity dies, a solemn ritual begins: millions race to be the first to post “RIP.” The RIP Off rewards the fastest eulogists with a custom medal and immortality on this leaderboard. I worked with the crazy minds at BRAIN to help bring this bonkers idea to life.

HOW IT WORKS

We analyzed 16 years of RIP tweets from Twitter users and stack ranked them by who tweeted the quickest. Those who were in the top 3 could claim they made their tweet, and receive an actual engraved medal memorializing their eulogy forever.
